The main house is built in stone and is on two levels, the upper level comprises;

3 bedrooms,
study,
large 'L' shaped living room,
kitchen,
bathroom,
separate Wc
sunny south east facing terrace partially covered.
a large woodstore open at one end, easy to convert to another room.

On the lower level there is a spacious workshop which opens on to an amazing vaulted cave, the workshop is accessed from its own small terrace.
2 store rooms and another cave.

The house is quarry tiled throughout and there are wonderful exposed old beams in most of the rooms. The large living room has a cosy sitting area at one end with a Jotul wood burning stove; at the other end of the room there is a dining area with double glass doors leading on to a walled terrace, which is raised and catches the morning sun.

The kitchen is light and airy with a solid cherry curved work surface and space for a dining table and chairs. There is an Esse wood burning stove for cooking which also helps to heat the house.

The shower room has exposed stone walls and has a closed shower and Wc.
There is also a separate Wc.

There are 2 reasonable sized double bedrooms with wood panelled ceilings, and a third bedroom which is much larger, at present this is used as a store room. There is also a separate study with a high ceiling which could be used as a further bedroom. These rooms are all south facing.

The workshop on the lower level has a wood burning stove.
2 further store rooms in old stone are accessed from outside, one where the solar equipment is kept, the other at present stores gas.

Electricity was provided by solar panels backed up by a generator. This system needs to be replaced. Water is piped, filtered, and vortexed from a nearby stream which flows abundantly all year. There is the possibility to create a water drop to make hydro- electricity.  A septic tank needs ot be installed in compliance with French regulations.

The mas is in sound structural condition but needs refreshing.  No-one has lived in it for nearly 4 years. From every window there are beautiful views of nature and only the birds for company. A friend once remarked "This is a place where you can hear the butterflies flap their wings!"
