A winding track leads you down the mountain to this enchanting house, surrounded by its land of 54 hectares. This track is at present in a bad state of repair and needs serious improvement work. The land, is for the most part, wooded with rocky outcrops and mountainous. Apart from just around the house, it is largely on a slope. Everywhere the soil is a deep red, and the river Mougue flows through it with many waterfalls and pools for swimming - perfect for trout fishing. This river forms the frontier between France and Spain.

Near to the house there are many fruit trees - apple, pear, plum, cherry and hazelnut. so much fruit in fact that they had to build a fruit reserve!

This building is made of bricks and mortar and is about 50 m from the house, but totally hidden from its view. It is dry and secure, but is in need of finishing off. On the ground floor, there is one room of 93m2 with three double swing doors (for vehicles) and a small kitchen which needs total refurbishing. Above is the same place but with wooden beams and large windows with shutters, which allow a beautiful natural light. This building could easily be transformed into a workshop, or centre for yoga/meditation, or a gite.
